A bright light shines for me during this pandemic. Over the past two years, the AIHM-ACIH Joint Task Force met, at times weekly, to explore merging our organizations. I am happy to report that this is well underway, with the merger formally completed, and processes and procedures to integrate our two organizations well at hand.

Beth Rosenthal, ACIH Director, and Tabatha Parker, AIHM Executive Director, as well as the rest of the AIHM-ACIH staff have been hard at work thinking of and putting together all the pieces of this puzzle.
We recognize the upcoming months and years will provide opportunities to further explore all the ways our joined voices can elevate integrative medicine. Speaking of elevating integrative medicine, kudos to the ACIH NCCIH Strategic Plan Task Force and Research Working Group on comments to the NCCIH Strategic Plan - I also had the pleasure to join a stakeholder meeting with NCCIH last month.
As the merging of our processes progresses, please don't hesitate to reach out with thoughts and ideas. Right now, our plan is to hold a joint AIHM-ACIH Board/Council meeting in June to get to know each other and to begin to think strategically about our collective futures.
Here's to a bright future together.
